Existing payer-specific numbers, workers' compensation intake, attorney records requests, lagging trading partners, payer portals that fax-back instead of returning electronic responses, and the failover rail that has to exist when X12 stops working at 2 a.m.

Partnership Models
We are flexible on form. The model below is what we lead with; the actual structure is scoped per engagement and confirmed in writing.
You are the prime; the PHI eXchange is the named fax subcontractor. We deliver the fax workstream of a claims attachment modernization project: discovery, number inventory, migration plan, intake architecture, fallback rail, and ongoing operations.
You introduce the PHI eXchange to a customer with a fax-heavy operating reality. We close and deliver the fax engagement directly. Referral terms are scoped per partner.
Your platform exposes fax intake, number portability, and outbound fallback under your brand, powered by the PHI eXchange network underneath. BAA, SOC 2, and carrier reliability come with it.
Co-architected reference architecture for shared customers: your claims attachment workflow + our fax network + clear handoff (API, SFTP, webhook). Includes joint runbooks for support and escalation.
Hospital and health-system customers often want both companies on the SOW. We’re comfortable being named on the contract as the fax operator, with you as the platform of record.
Short-burst engagement: a small team from the PHI eXchange embedded in your project for fax number inventory, payer-side outreach, migration sequencing, and cutover support around the customer’s 2028 timeline.

the PHI eXchange does not generate X12 275/277 transactions, does not produce HL7 C-CDA documents, does not perform OCR or document classification, does not code LOINC or capture clinical metadata, does not match claims, does not replace clearinghouses, and does not replace EHRs. We will not pitch your customer your platform’s capability set as something we do.
We will own the fax network workstream end-to-end and integrate cleanly into the platform you sell. Service boundary stays clean for the customer; commercial boundary stays clean for the partnership.
